Specialization: Prof. Ben Arush, MD, is the Director of the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Division, as well as the Deputy Director of Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital.
Clinical Experience: Prof. Ben Arush serves as a Professor in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. She continues to be an active participant in a wide range of clinical and basic research projects and initiatives in the field of pediatric oncology.
Research and Academic Activities: Prof. Ben Arush conducts comprehensive research on the diagnosis and management of solid tumors. She is also the national principal investigator in rhabdomyosarcoma.
Professional Activity: Internationally acclaimed for her expertise in pediatric oncology, Prof. Ben Arush was formerly the Chair of the Israel Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology. She is currently an international member of the Children's Oncology Group in the USA, as well as various European organizations.
Social Activity: Prof. Ben Arush has had around 150 articles published in international journals. In addition, she is Associate Editor of The Journal of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, as well as the editor of a book on the psychosocial aspects of pediatric oncology.
Awards: Prof. Ben Arush was awarded the Ministry of Health’s Prize for Outstanding Work, as well as the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur in France. Due to her remarkable insight, empathy, and professionalism in the field of pediatric cancer care, she was named one of the most caring physicians in the world by the World Medical Association.
