Dr. Dan Hot
Dr. Dan Hot is the head of the Hand Microsurgery Department at Rambam Medical Center. He specializes in performing various microsurgical hand and wrist reconstructions, including reconstructive surgery.
Education
Dr. Hot graduated from the Ben-Gurion University's Faculty of Medicine in 1993. After that, he completed residency at the Tel Ha-Shomer Medical Center's Orthopedic Department and stayed on to complete hand surgery residency.
Dr. Hot graduated from clinical postgraduate studies at Trauma Center Ludwinshaffen (Germany) at the Plastic Surgery and Wrist Reconstruction department.
Public and professional activities
After returning from Germany, he worked as a senior surgeon of the hand surgery department at the Tel Ha-Shomer Medical Center until 2010. In 2010, he became head of Hand Microsurgery Department at Ichilov Medical Center. Starting in 2015, Dr. Hot became head of the Hand Microsurgery Department at Rambam Hospital in 2015.
Dr. Hot specializes in various areas of hand microsurgery, including local anesthesia surgeries, simple and complex injuries, and hand preservation and reconstruction surgeries.
Dr. Hot is a member of the Israeli Hand Surgery Association.
